Potential new home??

So, big momma lured me into the local realtor "just for fun! And we
have to congratulate Lena (the realtor) on becoming a new Grandma!" oh
oooooookay! And so we go.

First thought: I want a little cottage, just outside of town with a
big lawn where I can have a vegetable garden. And a view of the lake!!
-- well a girl can dream, right?

Then she suggests I take I to consideration my job, being gone every
other month. My desire to travel, which is considerable to say the
least.

So, scratch the dream (for now), and check out what I actually applied
for! See below.

"Vättervyn" means View of Vättern lake. And oh what a view it is!! Not
better than my parent's, but I'm not competing.. At least my house
will be finished when I move in, even though it's just grass right
now. ;)

What do you think? Did I mention the sauna and guest rooms in the
building? Also, the extra room is reserved for visitors. *hint hint

Live, Just Like Jill

Here is a healthy, humbling piece of inspiration. This is an article about a beautiful friend of mine, Jill Costello, that passed in Lung Cancer early this summer, merely a month after we graduated from Cal.

She had a contagious smile that now graces the billboards of San Francisco as the new face of Lung Cancer. If you can, please, support the Bonnie J Addagio Lung Cancer Foundation in its efforts to gain awareness and funding for Lung Cancer Research. And join any 5k Walk/Run "Jog for Jill" across the country. I played a (small) part in the realization the first Jog for Jill, spearheaded by one of my bestest friends Darby Anderson and Jill herself, on the Berkeley Campus in early 2010 and would consider any involvement a wonderful contribution and a personal favor ;)
